Now that Natalie & Matthew have returned sunny weather to the UK courtsey of their honeymoon in Mexico (lucky so and so’s), it’s time for me to write a little bit about their wedding and post some photos! It began with me confused. Not an unusual state some people might say, but this time it was because everyone was taking about “Paz”. This meant nothing to me. At first I thought it was “pez” being mispronounced, then I thought it was some kind of medical condition, but I was wrong. Paz, as everyone but me knew, is Matthew. Phew. 😉
Anyway Nat and Paz didn’t have the greatest weather known to man on their wedding day, but they did have a fab photographer ( 😉 ), wonderful guests and a great time, and that makes for a pretty perfect day. We had to improvise quite a bit, and all the outdoor shots I took of Nat and Paz happened after the wedding breakfast as a result of pretty persistent drizzly rain. I enjoyed that though, as often that time is used for a lot of chin wagging/drinking by brides & grooms and their guests and there’s often not a huge amount to take photographs of. I’d like to say a big thank you to Aisling, the chief bridesmaid, who came with us to the park and was a massive help carrying brollies, and making sure Natalie’s dress stayed out of the mud – thank you!!
